Monterey County Resources
Red Cards – Know your Rights: The County has purchased and is distributing thousands of Red Cards. You can also print your own red cards in 16 different languages using the PDF here: https://www.ilrc.org/red-cards-tarjetas-rojas
Child Safety Plan – A child safety plan can help ensure a child’s safety if a parent is detained or deported. The Safety Plan is meant to help families, mostly immigrant families, and is designed so that parents can fill out the document without the help of an attorney.
Community Bridges can provide trainings to organizations who want to train their staff to help parents create their child safety plan.
Immigration 1:1 Consultations – Every situation is different and the best option is to consult with an experienced immigration attorney who can review specific circumstances to develop a plan. The County website has a list of some trusted partner agencies who are offering low cost consultations. – We recognize that the need for these services far exceeds capacity at this point.
Community Bridges has Immigration Consultations for residents of Pajaro. Please contact : silvias@cbridges.org or 831-724-2997 ext. 213
