The California Immigrant Policy Center (CIPC) is proud to announce our Immigrant Day of Action 2025 Conference & Rally to be held in Sacramento onApril 8 and 9. This year’s theme, Rise Up for Immigrant Rights: Empowering Communities, Strengthening California was specifically chosen to address the actions by the Trump administration that instill fear and division in our communities. In this event, we are coming together to say: No more! During the event on April 8, they will convene community leaders, immigrant rights movement leaders, philanthropic partners, community based organizations and elected officials. The day
will include powerful and informative plenary sessions and six different breakout sessions focused on training and capacity building, power building and networking, as well as deep dives into critical issues related to the wellbeing of our communities. There will be a rally and advocacy day on April 9, participants will have an opportunity to speak
directly to state elected representatives, lobby for the policies we need to improve the wellbeing of all Californians and to meet and share their experiences with like-minded people from regions throughout the state. There is a bus leaving Watsonville at 6:15 am to go up for the rally on April 9. For more info: https://santacruzrapidresponse.org/yarr-mission-principles/
